We use gmail or some other client like it is our third hand. As a distance educator email is my primary method of communicating with my students. How effective is what I type. I have gotten feedback that perhaps I am too direct in emails and do not add enough feel good fluff. Effective communciation via email is it possible or is it a matter of interpretation.
I think that is a great question. I think e-mail is tricky. without non-verbals, it is so easty to misunderstand e-mail. I think it really is a matter of interpretation.
