Markup.io Bookmarklet Let's You Draw on and Annotate Any Web Site

This is an interesting tool I came across in one of my feeds. This allows you to markup a website and make notes and then once you publish it you get a new URL where people can see your marked up site.
This would be great for showing a student how to operate a website. For example a class that I am teaching is having student's use the companion website to the textbook, if they have trouble logging in I can take the login page and provide notes.
This has many applications.

Thank you for sharing your research. I think the application piece you included here is key. It's one thing to find new tools, but a completely different thing to figure out how you can use it!
ReplyDeleteThis is great! Thanks so much for sharing. I'm going to give it a shot. It sounds like it will be great for you as you work with your students!
ReplyDeleteIf you try it out, I'd be curious how different it is from Jing. Do the links stay live?
ReplyDeleteCool! I am excited to try this out. It would help in situations where you needed to literally draw out how to do something on a site. Do you find it easier to use than say, Jing?
ReplyDeleteI have to try this one and see if I can use it at my work.
